Dr. Douglas Yiu is a Vancouver-born and raised Family Medicine Physician dedicated to providing comprehensive, compassionate care to patients across all ages and stages of life. He earned his undergraduate degree and medical degree from The University of British Columbia (UBC), where he also completed his postgraduate training in family medicine. Dr. Yiu holds an appointment as a Clinical Instructor with the UBC Faculty of Medicine, Department of Family Practice, reflecting his commitment to medical education and mentorship.

Since 2005, Dr. Yiu has provided family medicine services to communities throughout Vancouver and Richmond, offering both continuity care and locum tenens support across a variety of clinical settings. He currently practices as part of the team at Shaughnessy Medical Clinic, where he focuses on building long-term relationships with patients and delivering thoughtful, patient-centered care.

Dr. Yiu is fluent in Cantonese, which allows him to better serve a diverse patient population, and he is known for his calm, respectful approach and attention to patient concerns. His goal is to ensure patients feel heard, supported, and confident in their care.
